Dae Ji Pork Cutlet in Burquitlam

Visited Dae Ji in Burquitlam!  It is small Korean restaurant that focuses on Tonkatsu: (豚カツ, とんかつ or トンカツ, pork cutlet), is a Japanese food made of cutlet. It consists of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet one to two centimeters thick and sliced into bite-sized pieces, generally served with shredded cabbage and/or miso soup (as quoted from wikipedia).

The meals come with a cabbage salad, corn, rice and some pickled radish.  Each dish ranges roughly from $8.00-$10.00CAD, depending on what you want.

We had the cheese hamburger steak, cheese pizza pork cutlet and the cheese kimchi pork cutlet: all $9.50CAD each. It was yummy and I do recommend it!

Lunch on Feb 11, 2012- WonJo BBQ Noodle Restaurant

Had lunch at WonJo BBQ Noddle Restaurant because someone had recommended it.

It was okay!  I like the fact that it felt very home made and that the noodles were hot and steamy! I will be going back to try their bbq next time.

They have a small menu which means they do what they do very well.  :)
