Seattle Food Galore!

Went to Seattle with my bf  for 2 days and had a list of places that we should eat at!  We managed to stop by all of the places!
Warning: This post will be image heavy!
List of places I had in mind to try in the states:
  • Jack in the Box
  • Auntie Annes
  • L&L Hawaiian BBQ
  • Romano's Macaroni Grill
  • Kingfish Cafe
  • Macrina Bakery Cafe
  • Mae Phim Thai Cuisine
  • Le Panier
  • Pike Place Chowder
  • Maximus Minimus
First stop: Jack in the box
I always have to get my 3 mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara sauce.  I had a breakfast sausage croissant but it wasn't good. -__-  My bf had a sour dough steak melt, it was awesome! LOL..in comparison.
got a small drink and it looks like a Canadian medium

my pig hammie came with us on the trip

churros!  It was greasy..lol
not so good breakfast sandwich

Stopped by Auntie Anne's for a giant pretzel and a jumbo dog at Seattle Premium Outlet.

Also stopped by a Starbucks because we needed something to keep us going for the morning!

Next food stop is L&L Hawaiian BBQ!  It was okay...it kind of tasted like Korean/Chinese food.  It was extremely flavourful but a little dry and fatty.  The spam musubi was bizarre!  I will not buy the spam musubi again.
Location: 19709 Hwy 99, Ste F, Lynnwood, WA 98036

Menu!
spam musubi
beef short ribs, chicken, rice and potato salad

Next place we ate at is at Romano's Macaroni Grill.  I personally really loved this place and I would definitely go back.  This particular location is at Alderwood Mall in Lynwood.

Stopped by Macrina Bakery and Cafe for some desserts/baked goods.  The cake and cookies were so delicious!  I never tasted anything as good as these baked goods in Vancouver.  The cake is so moist and rich.  My bf really liked the cookie too.

Chocolate almond cake, apricot and chocolate cookie, banana chocolate/coffee muffin

We ate at Mae Phim Thai Cuisine for dinner instead of Kingfish Cafe as Kingfish Cafe was closed.  Mae Phim was good!  I would go back, it was inexpensive and authentic.  The service wasnt the best though...perhaps next time I will do takeout!

Went to a second bakery called: Le Panier and bought macaroons and a slice of apricot pie.  It was heavenly..just as good as Macrina Bakery!  I will go back to both bakeries next time I stop by Seattle!

Last stop in Seattle was at Maximus Minimus!  It was on tv..on the food network but I forgot what show.  It looks awesome but the taste wasn't for me.  It reminded me of the left over Chinese soup meat inside a bun marinaded in bbq sauce.  The truck was so cool though...it was shaped like a pig!

  2. lol it's called a Spam Musubi. I personally love it, but I guess it's cause I grew up with it. It's practically a state food back in Hawaii :)(we have it on the breakfast menu at Mcdonalds as well!) I suppose its an acquired taste though because I know many people who hate it. Cute blog by the way!
