After purchasing a pair of Toms ballet flats in Seattle that were a tad small I kept thinking that I need to buy myself another pair that actually fits. I originally wanted the Alessandra burlap beige/black combo but I couldn't find them in Washington. I got desperate and looked all around Vancouver for them and could not find them, seriously it was like "有錢都買唔到" . I went to places that should carry it OR had carried it earlier. I went to Aritzia and other shoe stores in Downtown, Vancouver that supposedly should carry them and found out that they don't. I went to Hills of Kerrisdale and they "had" them but shipped them back to the manufacturer because people complained of the weird fit. -_____- The Toms Canadian website had limited styles and I didn't want to shop online for them as I wanted to try the 6.5 and the 7. I was surfing the Toms site and they so happened to have the Alessandra burlap in stock and I ended up buying it. I purchased a size 7 as I think I'd prefer it be a bit big than too small. The shipping took less than a week! They are a little on the big side but I can always wear inserts! They were $90.00CAD and with shipping it came to $107.00CAD.

Candyland- Chips, candy and mints~
Went to Candyland to stock up on my mints and chips. I really like the Hong Kong Calbee chips, especially in BBQ flavour. I was also looking for my baby packs of instant noodle snack but they didnt have any so I bought an alternative(the pink bag of noodle with that little Asian girl on it). I saw the Popin Cookin Candy in the sushi edition and I finally ended up buying it. I will take photos of the process after I open it. :D Candyland also carries the donut version, the bento box version, the instant noodle/gyoza version and the ice cream version. I bought the sushi version because I thought this one would be the most fun. I did want to try the instant noodle/gyoza version but the liquid in the noodle seemed weird...lol
There are 2 locations of Candyland here, one in Burnaby and one in Richmond. The one in Burnaby is located in Crystal Mall and the one in Richmond is located in Aberdeen Centre.

We also had 碗仔翅 Imitation shark fin soup at Top Wok as that's another must eat for me! It was $5.00CAD for a size small. I accidentally spammed it with white pepper. -___- LOL...it says SHARP fin soup! Major Engrish...so funny.

Time to eat the spiral fried potatoes! I specifically go to Hurricane Potato Fries as I think they are the original people that started this. There are many other stalls now that serve the same food but I still think the original is the best! It was $3.00CAD for 1 and $5.00CAD for 2. They come dipped in a variety of flavours and I chose BBQ. They are so popular that they have expanded and have 2 stalls now.

Gastown Vancouver- The Greedy Pig
Went to The Greedy Pig in Gastown, Vancouver with my coworkers for lunch! It was YUMMMMM...I would definitely go back when I feel like a nice gourmet sandwich! It was a tad on the pricey side as the sandwiches range from $10.00CAD-$15.00CAD but I found that it was quite filling. I do love the side of coleslaw that each sandwich comes with. I shared a chicken cobb sandwich and a special of the day ham and cheese? sandwich with my friend! I personally liked the ham and cheese special but she liked the chicken cobb better. :P The others ate a pulled pork sandwich and BLT sandwich. We all chose similar/overlapping sandwiches! ;D
